The main house features a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy living and dining area with exposed beams and a wood burner, and three lovely bedrooms. Ample parking and outdoor space await your arrival, promising a memorable getaway in this idyllic setting.
For larger families or groups of friends the annex can be added for an additional charge which can accommodate further guests. As it is single level it is ideal if you are travelling with guests who have limited mobility.
Inside
As you step through the front door of this stunning countryside retreat, you are immediately greeted by the warmth and elegance of the interior. The open-plan living space offers panoramic countryside views, creating a sense of tranquillity and relaxation.
The entrance lobby provides ample storage for shoes and coats, with a convenient WC and basin for your comfort. Moving further into the property, you’ll find a rear lobby/utility area, perfect for storing muddy boots and paws after a long day of exploring the nearby countryside. Here, you’ll also find a washing machine, tumble dryer, and clothes airer for your convenience.
The heart of the home, the kitchen, is a modern culinary haven. It boasts a well-equipped setup with a range of wall and base units, an electric ‘AGA’ oven, a large American-style fridge freezer, toaster, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave, and a spacious island with drawers. Whether you’re preparing a hearty family meal or a quick snack, this kitchen has everything you need.
The open-plan dining room and lounge area are bathed in natural light, thanks to the full-height windows that frame the breath taking views. Exposed beams and an inviting inglenook fireplace with a wood burner create a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is tastefully done in soothing grey tones, featuring tiled flooring, large comfortable sofas, a driftwood coffee table, a lamp, a Smart TV, barn-style doors, soft rugs, and a dining area with seating for six.
Bedroom one, on the ground floor, is a delightful and snug twin bedroom. It features a charming beamed ceiling, two single beds, a wardrobe, bedside tables, lamps, and a large window that allows plenty of natural light to filter in.
Ascending the central staircase, you reach the first-floor landing area that serves the two double bedrooms and a modern fitted shower room. Bedroom two, a warm and inviting king-sized room, boasts a vaulted beamed ceiling, bedside tables, lamps, wardrobe and a vanity unit with a mirror.
Bedroom three is a spacious double room with comfortable furnishings, including bedside tables, lamps, a wardrobe, ample wardrobe space, and a freestanding mirror.
The family bathroom on this level is a striking space with a high beamed ceiling, a large corner shower enclosure, tiled walls, wood panelling, a generous basin area, mirror, and a WC.
Outside
Outside, the property offers a large gravel driveway and access to the rear courtyard garden. The outdoor space is perfect for alfresco dining during the summer months, with ample seating for relaxation and entertaining.
For those seeking additional space, the separate annexe, formerly a triple garage, provides a one-bedroom retreat for up to two guests. It includes a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy sitting room, a shower room, and a king-sized bedroom.

House Rules
So that our cottage can be enjoyed be all our guests and we don’t upset the neighbours we ask that guests observe the following
- No parties
- Quiet outside after 10:30pm
- No smoking/vaping
- Please clean up after your pet
- Park in the designated area
- Whilst check in is normally 4pm we are sometimes able to accommodate an earlier arrival. Please request in advance.
